However, there is politics between different groups and promotion is not easy. This was the worst work experience of my 30 year career. The work environment was very toxic. People were consistently fired with no reason given. They were simply walked out. (I was not fired). The communication was horrible within the company and ethics were stretched. I feel that money was the bottom line here. The HR department was unethical and unfriendly. People would be put on probation for non-legit reason prior to the annual bonus so that they did not have to pay out bonuses. People that were laid off were given letters to sign saying that they resigned so they would not be eligible for unemployment benefits. Horrible practices. When I left I also had hundreds of shares of stock which I was told would remain in my account unless I wanted to sell at some point. They were actually sold by the company without my knowledge when the stock was at the lowest and I was sent a check. So I lost thousands of dollars. Had HR informed me correctly, I could have easily kept my stock and moved it over to my own managed account. The pay was decent.
