What is the best part of working at the company? Going home at the end of the shift. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Catching up everything dayshift refused to do. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? If you are not Hispanic, you will not be accepted. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Cleaning up after day shift to start with. Then cleaning and reorganizing freezers. Pay is at or slightly above average for the title. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The company expects you to be available 24/7 364 days a year. Many shifts are over 12 hours. Many times 6-7 days a week for weeks at a time because the company can’t keep people. Family time is nonexistent. Holidays and weekends must be dedicated to work. Use personal vehicle without reimbursement to run for product on a frequent basis because they require inventory levels to be bare minimum. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Work environment is high pressure and constant multitasking and doing the work of 3 people but being paid as one. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Opening the restaraunt as the kitchen prep, manager, and dishwasher as you are not allowed to run hours for those positions until sales begin. Preparing the restaraunt to ensure food safety, counting registers, checking for expired product all which must occur within a 1 hour time frame of arriving into the building. Helping cook orders and seating and cashing out customers and continuing to operate the dish machine while also performing table touches and ordering or inventory depending on the day prior to being allowed to have a hostess u til approximately 10am. It’s now been 4 hours and you’ve done the work of 7 people. If you’re lucky you get to have a second manager around 1 or 2 after getting demolished on both breakfast and lunch rush. Oh and two servers called off. So now you’re waiting and bussing tables too. Every place of employment has pros and cons. I love it her because I honestly feel like my voice matters. They are honestly making positive efforts to changes job culture. Safety is serious. There is no communication, the management has favorites, it’s chaotic at best. They change their minds constantly so keeping up is a challenge. The pay is good though and you work with some gray people.
