On the branch level, teams are excellent. I have never worked at a job with such supportive staff around me every day no matter where I went. Lots of community engagement. Lots of opportunity for growth.

Regional management is abysmal at best. Pay is below market rate in the area. Skeleton staffing to the point of mass burnout - having two people staffing a busy branch every single day is borderline abusive. Promotions are doled out despite serious skill gaps, and complaints are handled by punishing and chastising those who file them. Favoritism from upper management is rampant, and it's the worst kept secret among employees.

Provide training and coaching to mid-level management. Pay employees their value. Staff your branches, and if you can't find help, merge branches. Either commit to "role clarity" or recognize that everyone's role is dynamic.

Great location and team environment when working with other departments. Internal operating system is efficient once self taught. Lots of internal opportunity if patient when following internal policy.

Banking Centers have team based commission- other departments have individual commission payouts. BC Management lacks structure and organization in: leadership, training, goals and motivation. Ideas, goal reviews, and follow through actions are often not discussed. Workload does not match salary, based on - location, experience, and competitors. High turnover due to lack of pay for career development and growth.
