Not for the highly educated or professional employee. It's a easy job but it's repetitive. Work place culture is that of a high school atmosphere and leaves very little room for advancement.
Of all jobs in this specific industry in the area, pay is about a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10 1 being the lowest.
Not worth the time for a unsafe, unprofessional, and unkind work place and environment.

Low pay for working with and around dangerous chemicals.
Company feels like it is still trying to figure it out.
Poor schedule for most.
Pay once was good, but they are lagging behind. We do work with extremely dangerous chemicals.

It's alright
|
I was only here for a year and I've been through 2 different company name changes due to re-branding and being acquired by another company. The turnover rate here is insane, not only do Operators keep leaving, so does Management.
If you do end up working here, the pay is nice but in about 3 months, they will do another hiring spree and hire someone with less experience and offer them more than you :-)

No professional management, nobody takes responsibility. No clear direction gossip and toxic work place. Cliques and gossip is all this place has. HR will say anything to save themselves weak structure big turn around rate. I would avoid this place by all means necessary.

As a smaller company it was open to listening to suggestions for changes and challenging the norm. However as it grew management no longer wanted to hear anything but "yes sir". If you challenge the norm or make suggestions you are marked as a trouble maker no matter how long you have been there and they punish you for having illnesses.

Just okay.

No real sense of belonging. Not very inviting. Coworkers racing to get certified without knowledge of what they’re working to accomplish. They don’t allow observation as that’s how I learn. I need to watch the cycle and I’m told not to stand around and to look busy. I am busy in my head observing how to do it myself. I can’t learn if I am trying to appear busy.
