Then you realize the pay is awful, someone starting off elsewhere makes way more than you. Working till 4 or 5 daily (6 on Friday) is not work life balance… barely have any day left. Overtime is frowned upon & when you do get it, if there’s a holiday, you just get paid your normal pay, not overtime pay. People get promoted into positions they have 0 experience for. I work in the back office and it is very boring. I come in, sit and do my work, barely acknowledged by other coworkers, go home. The training was terrible. I watched someone work for a couple days before I was told that I could do everything on my own. After about a week, it was brought to my attention that they offer training online. You’re supposed to feel appreciated and wanted by your employer. I feel nothing but mental exhaustion and like my work doesn’t matter. The pay isn’t worth the compromise of your mental health. Pretty much sums it up. Working at CNB was one of the most toxic years of my life. The management would share personal medical information with your coworkers and talk down on co-workers to other co-workers. The atmosphere is very “Highschool” full of drama and toxicity. The measly $12.00 an hour pay is no where near worth the mental exhaustion that comes from the other staff and management.
