What is the most stressful part about working at Cadence Design Systems?
Watching management bundle product offerings causing some product groups to have no individual revenue. Basically boils down to bad business because of bad management practices.

Great working environment and team focus

I enjoy the work I do and the product that I work on. The work is challenging and exciting, but can be stressful at times. Like most tech companies, there is always a mass exodus at some point because compensation is not meeting expectations. However overall I have enjoyed my time here.

I love working at Cadence.I feel involved in the process and like the compensation system.There is room for advancement and the diversity is reassuring of the equal opportunity pledged by the company.The breaks are reasonable and the cafeteria is spacious and well maintained, ideal for social distance measures .Coworkers are amicable and helpful.The facility is well organized and clean,lots of room for parking individual lockers and tool boxes equipped with calipers,micrometers and various hand tools.

Mostly wonderful people to work with

Wonderful place to work. My only problem was they kept trying to improve productiviy by reorganizing depts that were already working beyond expectations. Too many managers competing to take over larger organizations. My last manager not chosen by me was caught spying on me & tried to find a reason to fire me because I beat him in a competative benchmark with Isreal. When i was transferred into his dept he lowered my salary. Shortly afterwards I was diagnosed with Post Chronic Lyme Disease & I lost the ability to maintain the excellent quality of supervising customers in resolving system problems because of short term memory loss & Chronic Fatigue. My disability insurance was taken away from me when I turned 65. Since then I have been surviving then on SSd
even though i remain very ill. When i turned 70 my life insurance also started dropping every year. I am now 74 with my life insurance at its lowest level.
Most people in my position will receive their disability insurance until they die not at age 65! While i was working I was under the illusion that my insurance would cover me until i either became well gain or became deceased.
Little did i know my insurance at Cadence was full of loopholes.

Good people, bad hours

When I joined the company, there was good work life balance. However, that as diminished over the last few years since Pandemic has started and employees are now expected to work much longer hours at times reaching 80 hours week with no end in sight.
