Great place to work if it wasn’t for the HR Management.
|
Let me start by saying I love my job. I feel like my direct manager is very helpful and a great leader as well as team player. However my review needs to be centered around how toxic the HR department is here. Previously the two top HR managers were the worst! CECO wised up and the VP was moved out. Since she has left the company dynamic changed for the better for a while. Unfortunately the other HR manager is still there. Toxic and lazy! The HR department is the worst department to respond to any inquiry or request. You may hear something back within 3 days but seriously once it took over a week! The ONLY department on the HR side that had great responsive people was the recruiting department and they mysteriously disappeared - all of them! If you ask me they are letting go of the wrong people! Keeping those who are never available and letting go of the few that were helpful and great to work with.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The slapstick was out of this world, and the people there were people! I've never laughed so hard in all my years, in fact I'd work for them again just for laughs I've never laughed so hard.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Absolutely nothing!
Management deals with all stressful things so you don't have to.
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment at Ceco is out standing around smoking cigarettes if you smoke drinking pop eating donuts and washing slapstick all day long.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Show up to work clock in, talk to the people you want to at the daily morning meeting while watching the slapstick and have some good laughs, then walk all the way around the floor chatting, looking things up or snap pic's of the funniest slapstick in the shop, and next you know it is lunch time, and after lunch the second half the day is basically a repeat of the first part after the meeting then clock out.
