I enjoyed my experience at CDI, one thing they could have done better was to provide more timely feedback. This is not a place you want to go if the work isn't your top priority as there is minimal work life balance. If you want to work with smart people who aslo work hard and come together to get the job done, this is the place for you.

CDRT is a great place to work with family atmosphere

Love my job! It’s seasonal and part time so it’s a must to have other income if you have my position (i.e. retired, investments, etc) so don’t apply if this is the only source for you. I love the family atmosphere. It has a a lot of moving parts and everyone must work together to keep the wheels turning, so it’s imperative to be willing to work with others well. My training was minimal but nothing can prepare you for a Derby day. It’s an experience all of its own.

Reduced costs for food at cafeteria, meeting people (celebs included), hours are pretty great
|
Not really any breaks scheduled, some days are nothing but complaints, pay is a bit low
|

Overnights
|
There is no pay differential for overnights so just don’t work 3rd shift. It’s easy but I feel like I’m not wanted and they don’t pay me enough for the work I do. Management is amazing but It doesn’t make up for it.

Levy staff from the bottom to the top are unprofessional, rude, inconsiderate. DONT BE FOOLED BY THE WORDS FAMILY OR TEAM.Thats a lie.You will have to take a pay cut every month for a union that doesnt represent you or benifit the employees who are not full time or dont receive benifits. So basically you wont be a unionised worker but you will be charged union dues to help pay for your coworkers benifits. coworker atmosphere is abusive, harrasing, and ddangerous.A business that wont afford its self to take care of its employees deserves to be called out for what it is.
