High stress, low pay, decent PTO, & an opportunity to gain sales related skills.

After leaving the company to work in another sales position, I now realize that working at C.H. Robinson was not worth the stress for such low pay. They had decent health insurance and PTO, but you can make a lot more money in other sales positions. The most frustrating part was being the main point of contact for customers to take out their frustrations when things go wrong, but you have very little control over what is happening on the carrier side of things. I learned a lot of skills which I’ve been able to apply to my current career, so that was a positive. It’s not a bad place to work, but there are better positions out there. If you like a casual work environment and you don’t mind having to respond to calls/emails at all hours of the night, then this may be a good position for you.

Upbeat, Progressive, Forward-thinking company

C.H. Robinson makes it very clear that they are a very inclusive company. If you look at their company reports, you can see how they value inclusivity and social justice into their corporate environment. All of the managers I worked were progressive and supportive. I was given all the tools I needed to succeed at my job. I highly recommend working at C.H. Robinson.

Bad Management, bad work environment.

You won't be long working here. Don't have an opinion or disagree with management otherwise you're written up. Don't be sick or you're told you're taking too much time off. And if you do your job, they will keep dumping on you until you are so overloaded you can't deal, but let the "favorities" do what they want. No training, no encouragment. No one has your back!!!!

What is the best part of working at the company?
It’s nice to work at C.H Roberson warehouse but I rate them 1 star because the supervisor and employer has favoritisme, they’re not fair.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Supervisor at that company stresses employees for no reason. They get read of employees if they don’t like you. We as an employee work hard and do our best to keep the Company stand on third highest rate etc

Every one can get can along but only few has mix energy against others

Not bad but needs more attention by given respects

A typical day is busy however not micro managed. Advancing comes easy although pay transparency does not exist.
The hardest part of the job is giving your all and not being paid fairly. Three years no raise only a lateral move increase.

Just okay- and trending downward
|
Worked as an operations representative for nearly three years. The office environment is casual, the benefits are solid and the people are nice but the pay is low. The supervisors generally care about your well-being (although I've heard it depends on who you have) but there's a huge disconnect with upper management, who seem to always be changing things around without telling anyone. The new CEO is doing a lot of cost-cutting by eliminating raises, slashing bonuses (except for his own of course), and laying off tons of staff over the last year so it's not a great time to be there.
