High school environment. Management was not good. Assistant manager talks down to you. Would not recommend this as a good place to work. Very busy and always short staffed!

Great pay and benefits. Co-workers are great, not a bad place to work.

Co-workers are very friendly, and customers were professionals who are also friendly and pleasant. Flexible for employee personal needs and good pay and benefits. The only thing I didn't like, was the hard pushing sales approach. It's a regional bank with a big bank feel, that can be positive or negative depending on your personal tastes. On boarding/training in person is great, however, the initial 2 weeks of zoom training is exceptionally boring, but that has nothing to do with your manager or the branch you would work at.

Civista has great medical benefits, they are very organized and majority of the management is overall great! Unfortunately, there is not a lot of room for growth and they do not have mentors in place to help others succeed.

No balance in work, life, and proper training

They consider 2-3 people in a branch fully staffed. Which means no work life balance at all. If emergency comes up with children or family its almost impossible to leave. No one is properly trained. You are tossed into your roll sink or swim. Been here for 1 year and have not receive proper training for anything in my roll. I had 2 days of loan training and not coaching at all. Basically was told to figure it out. Unless you are familiar with banking you will not be successfull here
