Job Summary: Previous electrical experience a must! The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues with electrical equipment by use of diagnostic tools to find the root cause of an issue. Will have an expert knowledge of electricity, as well as an aptitude for working with their hands. Analyze relevant electrical systems and use deductive reasoning to figure out what is causing a malfunction.Essential Functions of the Job (listed in order of importance):Electrical, welding, and fabricating experience.Hydraulic experience.Inspect on a routine basis electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures and other components to ensure they remain functional and are up to code, as well as to identify any hazards or issues.Determine the reasons for any malfunctions of systems or components and create a maintenance or repair plan to solve the problem.Repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, equipment and other components so that they remain at full functioning capacity.Marginal Job Functions:Maintain inventory of mechanical supplies.Keep records of all maintenance and repair work conducted, including a record of any supplies ordered and used.
