The job is easy and most providers were nice. The hard part was the micromanagement. It became unbearable. Constant meetings throughout the day, meetings that could have been an email. Last minute requests. Every coordinator seemed to be on edge and very disrespectful with each other. Definitely a hostile environment.

Having to find your own set up locations after the company lost its contract to showcase in the Walmart stores.

Getting to go set up at assigned locations in high retail areas with marketing brochures and collateral, meeting with customers, getting them interested and excited to meet with licensed Agents to sign for Medicare Advantage program with Clover Health.

A typical day at work is essentially babysitting a fire that continues to burn. Oh, and being asked to work out of scope and not rewarded, compensated, or otherwise rewarded.
Senior management (VP+) doesn't typically iterate on feedback given from employees. Or even seem to really care to listen about it...
Workplace culture was one of my favorite aspects up until about 2021. It's drastically declined. It's a dog-eat-dog environment, where recognizing we're working on the same team is relatively non-existent. New policy on some meetings where you MUST have your camera on (and they apparently track this).
Hardest part of the job is dealing with the above plus keeping up with the constantly changing strategies.
Some of the people there have a TON of passion and are great to work with; however, many of them are leaving/have already left.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Very good model of patient care but little support (or interference) from above. Daily grind much dependent on ancillary staff who were often discontent with scheduling and routing. There were great days and a few very poor days. Overall it is a joyous practice with grateful and needy patients. I would gladly do it again if I could choose my working staff!
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Worrying that the MA's would not return to office on time. Some were young mothers with family and children concerns. Some were students with class schedules to worry about. The best just cared about the patients
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The company tries to make everyone happy and cannot. Perhaps they promise too much to the incoming ancillary staff and can't deliver. The physicians/providers are generally content. The patients overall love what we do and it is extremely gratifying.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Meet MA in office. MA drives to patient's home. Patients are serially cared for. MA does translations, vital signs and phlebotomy. Occasionally the patients are not at home and valuable time is lost. Notes are completed in the car between patients.

Great company
|
I remember being so impressed by how fair they are with their compensation process. I did not have to negotiate anything. They offered the best salary and also increased my salary by over 20% a few months later when they attempted to adjust employees' salaries with experience. Clover also has great benefits. The job itself was very rewarding but was also very hectic. I often took the job home to document within the established time frame. Like any corporation, they are always changing things around so I felt that there was always something new I needed to learn. However, this is a company that I will highly recommend. Most people were pretty happy to be part of it. Fun culture.

No organization. No direction. Folks are hired based on who they know rather than their skill. Turf wars. Disrespect. No passion.

The culture is horrible. If you're anyone with two brain cells, you're going to make people mad because they don't like being questioned or suggestions.

Hair is on fire all day due to the incompetence of others. Disaster.
