You won’t, unless you’re one of the handful of account managers who’s been there for like 30 years. Otherwise, after your first year, the base pay plus commission is ridiculously low. Oh, and you have to clock in and out for everything, including lunch, and will be dinged if you’re even a minute shy of 40 hrs/week. If you are not one of the few employees who keep sucking up to management, you will never get good accounts. The buying accounts are always given to the same person. Met lots of people within and outside of connection, very cool vendor shows, and lunches, weekly snack and drink carts, there were lots of benefits of working at connection. They provide and pretty extensive training and continue training through out your entire tenure. Managers and directors are all directly involved and interacting with everyone. And that isn’t a normal part of a corporate environment. Lots of free venues, prizes, meals, support, benefits, good compensation structure, good management Sometimes there was disconnect. If you get offered a job there...don't take it! They have not grown over the last 5 years in any significant fashion, their competitors have. The main reason, the competitors treat employees as adults. The hardest part of the job is you are constantly watched, and you know this because you get emails all day long about what you are NOT doing. Not much to say here Where do I start?? They hire you for one shift they they change it to a different shift verbally. There are no backup for your team and the project managers are award winning micromanager.
