Stay Away from Biometrics Department

This review is long overdue. I am glad I left this company and Biometrics department and I hope other stays away too. If you are looking for job, please look somewhere else, there are other good companies with better culture. There are hardly any individuals who stays with Biometrics department for long, it is a revolving door. People are led with fear instead of trust and are humiliated often. There is constant pressure and micro management.

My supervisor is the reason for all 3 stars. Would be zero otherwise.

I am literally doing 2 and 1/2 jobs beholden to too many and because I am spread so thin I am reduced to doing those 2 and half jobs average at best. I work nights and weekends. Specific individuals (MDs and Clinical) are toxic, micromanaging, ill-informed. No matter how much you do they are never satisfied and only focus on their litany of requests that will never be sated and what you haven't done. If you need review and approval they simply pile on more and more requirements for any document or process you are trying to execute. It also seems personal in some cases, but my guess is incompetency and paranoia working style. It has gotten to a Stalin-esque point where if someone is credited or acknowledged they wonder if and when they about to be fired. This place has put employees in so much mental health distress they are hospitalized. A lot of reviewers and 'project managers', a lot of complaining and backbiting, very little hands on doing, a lot of finger pointing. Certain people I simply won't do things they ask as I know it will not satisfy and I have actual work to do. I have one who came to me to ask me 'how I was?' who in the next breathe slags me to my supervisor.
