<p>Cowen and Company (Asia) Limited is seeking an Operations Administrator / Analyst in Hong Kong to provide Middle Office support for Asian Pacific traders/clients and Prime Brokerage operational support.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The role will be responsible for ensuring timely allocation of trades, settlement, reconciliation of any exceptions and resolving any hedge fund clients’ operational related queries including asset servicing, trade settlement, collateral, swaps, stock loan and reporting.</p>

<li>Experience with reconciliation, trade input and accounting reporting</li>
<li>Trade settlement experience in various international markets, focus on Asian markets a plus</li>

<li>Prime Brokerage operational experience and experience working with clearing counterparties a plus</li>

<p><strong><u>Program Description</u></strong></p>
<p>Cowen’s Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program is a ten-week program that offers an unparalleled experience for rising university seniors. Approximately 40 students are hired annually across the U.S., with an ultimate goal of converting each intern into a full-time hire for the following year.</p>
<p><strong>Training &amp; Development</strong></p>
<p>At the start of the internship program, a one-week formal training is held in New York City for all participants. Throughout the program, interns take part in weekly lunches with senior leaders throughout Cowen and are matched with Associate or Vice President level mentors to ensure a robust internship experience. Social events are part of each intern’s program, regardless of location, in an effort to better assimilate into the culture of our firm.</p>
<p><strong>Role &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>Interns can expect a fast-paced, demanding work environment that offers the chance to learn and grow professionally. Day-to-day activities of Summer Analysts vary, but include financial analysis and modeling, company and industry research, participating in the development of client presentations, and interactions with senior bankers and clients.</p>

<p>Cowen is currently seeking an Associate candidate for an opportunity within our Investment Banking Capital Markets Group located in New York, specifically as a member of the Private Capital Solutions team delivering financing solutions to disruptive private growth companies across all of Cowen’s industry verticals.&nbsp; Successful candidates will play a vital role in all aspects of sourcing and executing a range of private capital transactions including late stage venture, minority growth equity, recapitalizations, pre-IPO and private growth financings executed in conjunction with SPACs.</p>
<p><u>Key Responsibilities</u></p>
<ul>
<li>Managing deal execution and project management throughout the transaction</li>
<li>Executing on pitch work and client follow-up requests</li>
<li>Preparing presentation materials and participating in marketing meetings with key clients</li>
<li>Undertaking research on targeted private market investors, including investor focus with respect to industries and sub-sectors, stage preference and relevant portfolio companies</li>
<li>Managing and/or assisting in the execution of a range of private growth financings</li>
<li>Conducting industry and company-specific due diligence including emerging industry trends, public company comparable analysis and public company trading analysis</li>
<li>Interacting with senior Cowen team members and client management teams on a daily basis to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives</li>
</ul>
<p><u>Requirements</u></p>
<ul>
<li>BA/BS degree from a leading university&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li>
<li>Minimum of 3-5 years working in investment banking and/or capital markets, with experience in equity and structured equity capital raising</li>
<li>Ability to comfortably interact with senior clients in a professional setting</li>
<li>Highly collaborative with ability to work with Cowen team members across industry groups</li>
<li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Strong intellectual curiosity and intrigue with disruptive, next generation business models</li>
<li>Highly organized, detail oriented and proactive</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter with the capacity to work independently and in small teams</li>
