Challenging and everyday is not the same

Yes the days can be long. Most days are harder than others. However, your days fly by, the compensation is fair, and the stock purchase program is amazing! Nowhere is perfect however, when you have an understanding management team who are right there working the same hours and putting in the same work, it makes it well worth it!

Could be a decent place to work if you have no outside commitments.
|
The organization is structured terribly, most upper management doesn’t know what’s going on, no one is ever properly trained. They’ll institute mandatory overtime with no notice for a week or more at a time, but if you’re needing off for a prior commitment they won’t allow you to Flex Time by using PTO and making up the time in the same week.

Management located in Dallas TX is absolutely terrible and the work is very irregular. You can go for months without work or you can be one of their favorites and ALWAYS have work.

Didn't really have one other than working for them.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Working under the wrong management team and operators.
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I worked alone in the field. I drove to five different yards and the only one that was okay to me was Atlanta East.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful! I spend half the day driving on the road in Atlanta traffic traveling then having something more concrete to work on. Nothing really set up for me to work on unless I make it happen.

Horrible company

Copart is a horrible company! The yard manager at yard 53 is horrible. Micro management like crazy. Will find any reason to write you up. It absolutely power hungry. There is retaliation at this company for reporting things to human resources(people and culture) turn over at the yard is insane. Stay far far away from this place. Pay is also not worth the trouble.
