The technologies developed by the company are the next generation in computer technology. The companies products are niche market, but scale very well in any large enterprise, or public environment.The people working at Cray are the most helpful, and knowledgeble in the industry. Ask a question and if they do not know, they will findout, or point you in a direction where you will find it. The management in my department is very challenging. I have been through three managers in my three year tenure at Cray.The hardest part of the job is dealing with the lack of communication about change and implementation. You will get information, but it is minimal and not very informative. The training in the support departments at Cray does not exist. They will send you to seminars, but the seminars are generally IT companies struting their products. The most enjoyable part of the job, are the people, and their appreciation of hardwork and the assistance in helping you succeed. This is mostly through your peers, and co-workers.
