Do not recommend, overworked and underpaid.

When you first begin at car mart you get paid the minimum wage. While being paid this low rate and receiving a biweekly paycheck, you will be expected to perform managerial duties as a simple office clerk, with no extra compensation. They will tell you that it is listed in your job description but it is not, do not let them lie to you.

Office job, hour lunch, etc.

It's a GREAT place to work. EXCELLENT Co-workers, everyone is very friendly and helpful. Management is AMAZING and supportive. The Store Manager is the best I have ever worked for. He greets all employees every morning and is always friendly and polite with everyone.

I believe that this company does care about the employees. They have an excellent benefits plan, and retirement plans. The management training program is structured very well. My trainer was there if I had any questions, or needed help with anything.

I have learned so much while working at Car-Mart the last year and a half. It is a very fast paced environment, and there is always something to do! Management is very involved and always lends a helping hand or advice. The hardest part of my job would be trying to collect on accounts that have pulled GPS, wrecking the car with no insurance and most importantly the ones that do no want to communicate! The most enjoyable part of my job is when I can help someone who is truly in need!
