There are a few great people here, but there’s a group of people that the building administrator likes. If you are not part of that group, you will be treated poorly. You only get 1.5 hours of vacation time per pay period and the health insurance is far too expensive.

love love love my residents, the upper hand to my job is my co workers and nurses the rest of them have no idea what they are doing or what they want to do. they don’t care enough about their cna’s to give them the right equipment to do their jobs safely or staff the units accordingly.

Very difficult, improvement needed
|
Hardest part of the job is, all of it. Management doesn't take care of basic needs such as trouble with fixing basic programs for clocking in and out, as well as payroll programs. When contacted employee requests are often forgotten. CNAs are used as pawns for poor nursing delegation. Short staffed almost shift due to budget problems and lack of insight by corporate Diversicare. The budget for staffing facility is minimum therefore, staffing is minumum. Poor communication skills and lack of professionalism between clinical staff.

Extremely short staffed

Upper management was very shifty and couldn’t keep good people in the building. On extremely short staff days, upper management would literally sit and watch us struggle all day instead of helping.

This is a buddy buddy system if they like you they will promote you if the don’t they will not. They don’t care about there cnas you have nurses that are mid treating patients cnas too. You have management sitting on there a double s while the cna keeps the place going. No care for health or personal life. Selfish people every where that only care about themselves and money. Do not work here and more importantly do not let your family members stay here
