Each individual is expected to perform in an ethical manner at all times, promptly providing all recipients with accurate information respectfully and professionally, following DXP Enterprises, Inc. policies and procedures.<br /> </div><div><p>Responsibilities of the <b>Seal Mechanic</b> include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li><p>The initial process includes receiving the products, ensuring all documentation has been supplied (e.g., SDS), documenting and identifying the seal parts, and evaluating the repair needs.</p></li><li><p>Works closely with the Applications and Design Engineering team on reviewing repair needs and having design prints and parts created.</p></li><li><p>Regularly performs the disassembly, proper cleaning of all components, with use of manual lathes, grinders, drill presses and lapping machines.</p></li><li><p>Assembles final products based on detailed blueprint drawings and preforms pressure testing as required.</p></li><li><p>Work closely and professionally with internal team members to find solutions and resolve matters promptly by providing all recipients with up to date and comprehensive data.</p></li><li><p>Optimize each workday by utilizing provided resources and communication tools.</p></li><li><p>Performs other responsibilities as assigned or required.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Qualifications of the <b>Seal</b><b> Mechanic</b> include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li><p><span>2 to 3 years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</span></p></li><li><p>Ability to maintain composure at all times.</p></li><li><p>Ethical Business Conduct.</p></li><li><p>Proficient Written/Verbal Communication.</p></li><li><p>Attentive Listening Skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to accurately document information.</p></li><li><p>Computer/Data Entry Proficiency.</p></li><li><p>Problem Solving/Analysis.</p></li><li><p>Basic Math/Advanced Math.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Additional Information: </b></p><p></p><p><b>Physical Demand: </b>This would require the ability to lift up to 25 lbs., bend, twist and climb ladders up to 8 feet as needed.
