Commission sucks but cool place to work if you hustle

Co workers are amazing! Managers are amazing! Very competitive place to work. high turn over due in my point of view lack of training in salesforce use or training in how to approach cold calling new potential shippers. Sales manager hypes you up to have "power hour " meetings but never follows thru. A very go getter type of work. If you not averaging 40-50 calls a day you won't make it very far. Overall, working at Echo is a very welcoming place, managers are very understanding and willing to work with you. I just feel that Echo can do a better job at training new carrier associates in the use of sales force software and the accounting part of the job and teach you how to call potential clients. Training only used 2 days to teach people who never did sales how to call. Overall would rate Echo as a company and work environment a 3.5/5

Pretty decent place to work

Echo was a pretty decent place to work. Work life balance was great, i had amazing leadership all the way up to our regional director. Only con was they could’ve paid a little bit more.

Pay is good. Full benefits, 401k match, culture is fun and tons of people in the same age bracket. Huge network and tech advancements. Office is really nice and feels like you're legit doing something. You have the ability to run your onw book of business with an unlimited ceiling, while still always having a base salary ( until you make enough to make straight commission more profitable ) Outside of hours Echo events, sports, outings. Just a great place to want to come to.

2 hours of nothing. Then a team meeting. Then tickets I can't solve. Go home.
