Company was great overall & executive was very active with all departments and employees of every position, really seemed to care for their employees
|
Micromanaging to the fullest extent, had to keep a log of every task that was done for every minute of the full 8 hour shift every single day, including the time the task was started, the time the task ended, notes on the task, and the total minutes it took to complete the task, also had to log all bathroom breaks and any time went to get water or had to be away from the monitor for more than one minute. Mgmt claims to be sympathetic and flexible but punish and offer no empathy to their employees whilst being aware of reasons as to why their employee may not be performing the same as their star/favored employee (personally speaking in cases due to personal and family health issues, having a loss in the family, forcing their employee to drive in unsafe conditions in a vehicle known to them that would possibly blow up and/or stop in the middle of high traffic streets and highways telling the employee ‘Sucks to suck, figure out a way to work’ and not allowing them to work remote as an ‘exception’ even though they were originally hired as remote. Also banned employee from using any hotel offices at any locations closer in order to still be in office while not putting oneself in as much danger due to the state of the vehicle). Mgmt isolates and created a hostile work environment and make sure to tie up their loose ends before the employee can defend themselves to HR. It’s reported from other departments that wire managers have HR complaints against them yet have not been disciplined or terminated, but will make sure that if they do not personally like one of their subordinates they will be sure to have them terminated. The mngr’s mngr even went so far as to go out of their way to ask branch staff if employee was a distraction or causing issues while they were using the hotel office (they were not, which was confirmed by the branch mngr and other staff that employee was in fact quite helpful and of no distraction, and welcome to hotel office there). Every time someone has left/joined the team the mngr is quick to talk down on the employee and spill a lot of their personal information and/or issues in some way (ex: mentioning one employees personal family therapy issues and how that is the reason they have been needing to miss work, how another employee took a huge paycut by coming onto the team, mentioning another employee has fertility issues, etc) but makes sure to do so verbally so that there is no trace of them doing so. Breaks are ‘encouraged’ but should not really be used by subordinates, though the mngrs can leave for 40+ minute breaks (not their lunch break, just a random break) to go ride scooters around their neighborhood or give their friends or family a ride somewhere, meanwhile if an employee needs to leave for something they should do so on their actual lunch break or use PTO instead of using a ‘break’ like the mngrs do.
