Leadership vacuum creates unsteady environment. Otherwise fun people trying to do good work. Treats employees well, just was lacking strong leaders when I was there. Leadership has since turned over so maybe they righted the ship!

Totul super alert, si nu am o problema cu asta, dar acolo a fost inuman de mult de lucru, si colegii erau acolo sa alimenteze negativitatea deja existenta. Managementul mai din UK e si mai rau, si mai multa presiune pun pe oamenii din Ro, cred ca ei chiar ii considera pe romanasi sclavii lor. Managementul mic de aici e o gluma, e pus doar ca sa iti dea un "kind" reminder la presiunea de sus + anxietate locala <3. Gotta love life man.
Daca vreti sa aveti o viata linistita, mai bine mergeti si lucrati la un magazin de pantofi si esarfe, dar fugiti in directia opusa ofertei de munca de la 8x8 :)) va spun cu toata sinceritatea.

I do not recommend this company 2/10 would not work here again. Hourly gets 13 days a year Flat PTO no sick time PTO can only be used on accrual. Salary gets unlimited PTO but hourly will be doing the exact same job as salaried employees. Tier 2 Support was ran about the worst I have ever seen in my 10 years of Helpdesk experience. Upper management suffers from good idea fairy syndrome and was constantly throwing away processes and procedures for reasons unknown or unexplained. Was lured here with the promise of career growth and that 8x8 is a company that really cares about its employees. Plot twist they dont. Not sure how they will provide "World Class Customer Service" as they laid off 3/4 of the US Tier 2 support team. Im trying to find anything good to say, and about the only thing is they give you a day of per Quarter but then want you to post to socials about how they gave you that day off. Maybe other parts of the company are good to work for but customer support is not one of them.

Was fun in the beginning with the people that were there. Eventually they got laid off or went to competitor.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No growth potential. They said they want to hear new idea and feedback but they don’t. Gives sense of ‘stay in your lane and shut up’ environment

First it was play hard to win. Now it’s get off sinking ship.

Meaningless meetings and changing goals.
