All they care about is the money. They will bring in any and all patients despite clear reasons not to, just to have the beds full. Do not care about you as a person, just care about the business and the bottom line. I worked as an Administrator for Ensign Group at one of their skilled nursing facilities in Utah. They talk a lot about their culture and act as though they really care about the people. They don't. They ultimately just care about the business and the bottom line, the money. Company all about money Low pay, not enough staff. They want results and no OT but dont provide staff relief. They dont care about staff or their compensation..how can they expect staff to do their jobs to the best of their ability w/o proper compensation? Not to mention they expect so much. Take care of your staff and it will show in overall patient care and satisfaction! Get informed about proper nursing compensation considering patient load and other duties pit on nursing staff. Middle MGMT. Seems to be kissing corporates butt. While placing blame on nursing staff for not being able to get out on time .It's not lack of time MGMT, it's lack of staffing! Nsg staff is NOT supported....thus, high turnover. Competitive salaries and benefits, especially for the managers/directors. Ensign is a good company to work for. It recognizes the employees that have excelled in excellent patient care, and Ensign gives incentives to those employees to motivate them and to motivate others to improve their performance as well. The hardest part of the job was Medicare meetings as It was taking the whole day, taking time away for patient care or other responsibilities.
