This is the worst place I've worked in terms of bad management and uncertain job prospects. The company is riddled with debts to distributors and management take no responsibility. Instead they pass this task on to junior and middle management. It's a stressful working environment to say the least.
Global Eagle is extremely top heavy when it comes to management. There are so many 'executives' (in the US) and no one seems to know exactly what they all do. Communication is also lacking or non-existent.

I really enjoy working at Global Eagle Entertainment. When I first began the job, there were a lot of backlog projects. Helping the team to complete all of the backlog projects within those extremely short timelines was very challenging. But I like the challenges. Comparing to other work places, this one is the most peaceful and friendly work environment.

Great place to work

Global Eagle was a great place to work where they had an excellent group of people working for the company. The only thing was that they underwent a financial restructuring affecting the jobs to many individuals. Anything from that, Global Eagle was a very comfortable place to work at. Related to the job function, the hard part from the job, other than the restructuring, was that a corporate culture was needed to be implemented in order to be insync with the company's good practices. This was a good lesson for me to observe and learn as to finding the uniformity of the good practices with the corporation.
