Overall good but bad exit strategy

I enjoyed my time at Everbridge but was laid off after 15 years of employment. I would have expected better treatment than that. It was a disappointing exit strategy.

This org has had a lot of change in the past couple of years and although the current CEO is better than the last (a low bar) the layoffs and lack of raises have worn everyone out. This company has a solid mission but it's hard to keep that top of mind in the midst of the chaos.

Very good experience with the communication with management and colleagues, but the workload is huge compared to the salary. Workplace culture is excellent., and the training is difficult but very comprehensive.

Good place to work, company vision lacking
|
Overall solid experience at Everbridge. I moved up to Marketing from a BDR position. It was not too easy to make that happen, took way too long to get there, no clear promotion paths. The company bought out many smaller companies over a 2-3 year period and was overextended and had to lay off. I was impacted. It looks like they have since rebranded and are trying a fresh start. The old CEO sort of blew up the stock, but I enjoyed the people and mission.
