Good experience working in entry level sales. Started as a supply chain associate, then moved on to a sales associate then an OSR. Our district has since replaced the osr role with an account specialist role.

From several years back: the company was very structured and had layed the groundwork to grow on the west coast but lacked much local decision making with the central office so far away. Pay was below average.

Sometimes when customer needed a part right away and it hadn't come in yet for them So I would just follow up on it n let the customer know. Really didnt have Any.

Most of the time they have everything Parts or tools in stock at store that you need at any time.

Greeting people, helping with finding what they want to puchase in store , ordering supplies and operating cash Register. Management Financial Transactions and Balancing Drawer.

Managers are on top of things and the work is easy.

Management is reasonable, they will always approve time off requests if done two weeks in advance. The work is repetitive but very easy and did not take long to pick up when I started. It is a lot of physical work.

Not super professional environment. Works roles not precise and clear. Pay should be more For the amount of different roles each employee has to play

Definitely learned a lot about fasteners, PPE & account receivable. Hardest part of the job was training multiple college interns every 6 months or so. Culture could have been more professional.

Productive workplace with great coworkers

Started off part time which seems to be the policy. Everything was fine but when they went to offer me a sales position I realized I was making more working part time at a bar. So I went full time to the bar. Unfortunately it just didn’t seem like it was not worth my while at the point I was in my life. Great job for someone out of college because the progression is real. Saw some great folks succeed.
