Almost 100% turnover, can't keep employees with toxic working conditions. The manager had to replace experienced management more than 3 times because they quit.
Management is scheduled alone in a big store leaving employees open to danger. An associate was assaulted while working alone and the company said nothing.
Extremely toxic upper management, Dms are hostile.
No work life balance. I was called into work after open hours multiple times because of untrained employees being scheduled.
Male employees will make a higher salary than female employees. Because of this, the company has released a new policy that prohibits sharing your hourly wage with other employees.
There is NO TRAINING. You have to be perfect from day one.

Currently the district I worked in was extremely mismanaged. Males make .50 cents more hourly than women for the same credentails. The company is unable to keep a good percentage of employees because of how low morale is. When it comes to making cuts that hurt the employees Five Below will do it in a heartbeat to make a better profit. Part time employees were removed from the schedule instead of being fired to force them to quit when the company no longer needs them. The job duties are extreme and expectations are high. There is no training so I'd say start training employees. And despite taking all of my complaints to upper management I was discriminated against for being oppositional.

Simplify. And be consistent across the board. Not at the store levels but above that as well. I'm tired of correcting district managers because they have never run a store and can't even speak the lingo. And moving up in a store environment doesn't take long, but going further to the district level is a pipe dream. 17 years someone gave them to make it to an interim position at the DM level is freaking insane. They didn't even get the actual job either after all that. Just the temporary job.
