With unlimited vacation time policy, I always had a hard time actually taking time off.
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Pre-Covid, top notch locations in Cambridge and Boston Seaport. Work stations for working long hours very comfortsble.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Plenty of time for working independently with no-meetings time, and agile teams collaborating as planned.

This company was amazing then through a series of management changes, lay offs, and turnover of talented staff the company runs adrift. Challenged in finding its direction and remaining competitive. The management team is toxic, back stabbing, and very fake. Nice to your face then undermines you every chance. Lots of positive talk with very little action and follow through.

Challenging environment with too many layers of management
|
The amount of departments here and their nuanced jobs makes it a very difficult environment to navigate. You never know who is in charge or what. Move to seaport and return to office maneuvers are sure to lead to loss of serious talent for an already struggling organization.

Lots to learn with plenty of people willing to teach. Great intern program, with lots of activities that not only involve the interns but all staff, which is great for networking. Very collaborative environment with great pay for college interns.

A lot to do, but great people around you

By all means, there is a lot of work to do which can be daunting but the QA Department has phenomenal leadership and I haven't met a QA team member yet that is a problem. We are all working to make Foundation the best place it could be.

Collaborative coworkers and good benefits. Revenue are not meeting the target for years due to lower volume. It is relatively stable job because it's part of Roche but grow opportunity is limited.

Not a good place to work

Supervisor has favorites, they say that they're understanding and are flexible but when the time comes they won't, even though you put extra hours and worked on your day off when department needed help. Supervisor and Manager say that you're doing great job but don't want to train on anything extra even though you're interested in learning new things and want to move forward.
