Brunch is what Dallas is all about. Crazy busy weekends. No nights. But unless you have great dishwasher be prepared to work 11-12 hour shifts. District doesn’t seem to have real say in their district.

Wonderful Company, but...

It felt like I was promoted to management because they were desperate for managers. The turnaround for management is pretty bad. Wonderful company with great benefits, but definitely better as an hourly employee than management.

Early morning and early off shifts (3:30-4pm the latest)
You tip out the host and busser at the end of each shift but you still make good money.
Menu does change every season and upsell drinks!

Favoritism and not much advancement
|
This is a flexible job to work, however, you have to sacrifice your weekends. There are usually too many servers on the weekends with little sections. I end up making more tips during the week then on the weekends doing double the work. Each location is different when it comes to management and server sections. The favoritism is ridiculous. Sections are based on performance, but that’s not true. It’s based off of who likes you. Management can be rude and cruel if you make one small mistake.

Slow weeks, busy weekends

Everyone I worked with generally speaking was positive and encouraging. Slow week days and busy weekends. I always left around 3:30, the pay is average and you can definitely work your way up depending on what you're looking for.

You make great money in tips. If you do the math you can make $20-$40 an hour plus you leave no later than 3:30pm it works for me especially because I have a child that goes to school.
