Some nice people, sometimes flexible.
|
inexperienced management and employees. No set rules that are followed, some departments get to do whatever they want, they get away with not following policy. Used to be a nice place, family oriented but now it’s disconnected. The company offers low pay but says it’s not, gives opportunities but takes advantage of you. You have to be in the “inner circle” and working all hours if you want respect. Recently employees have been leaving more often and the ones there complain about management but are scared to leave for better opportunities

Stop playing mean girls and grow up this isn’t high school. Management should know the policy, make it clear and follow it themselves. Get more involved in team building and make time for training. Have patience and understanding, don’t assume your always right. No ones perfect, you make mistakes, you get overwhelmed so your employees most definitely will. Take accountability for what you do not do or your mistakes, do not blame it on your employees. Help them improve instead of building tension in stressful situations. Make it easier for your employees to have time for their life and family by not overloading them, you might have a happier team. Include everyone so people don’t feel left out, not just your friends. Make yourself available instead of just saying it, we all get busy. Praise things done right, mistakes found, hard projects anything positive to build confidence. Stop rewarding bad attitudes, bad behavior, if everyone has a problem with someone in particular it might be time to reconsider their authority and role that might make the overall population of employees more happy, maybe their authority level is too high and less mistakes for everyone to fix might be just what is needed not someone trying to do everything when they are only an assistant even though they have executive level signing authority and think they are an officer.
