Wish I could have stayed working there much longer but I had some family emergency and had to move to care for family members. The environment was stable; people are nice and caring and always innovate.

Great company and great people. I wish it were more flexible with remote opportunity and higher compensation to compete with the industry, and also provide catered food at least 3 times a week.

I think their product/tests are not a leading edge technology anymore, but they are hanging on until a buy-out.
I read in Forbes magazine online that Genomic Health doesn't treat its employees well, even those who themselves have cancer. Which is troubling. So its not an ideal place to work.

Employees are promoted based on loyalty and not by performance. Management does not care about the well being of the employees. Day to day work varies and tends to be on the slow side, but work eventually piles in. Lower tier individuals do not have much advancement opportunities unless switching to a different department.
