Very stressful work environment
|
Undertrained management,understaffed 100% of the time, way underpaid for the amount of work they expect out of you, management is always negative never has anything nice to say about your work, they only point out what you do wrong. If there is a problem you can't speak to management or they retaliate by putting more work on you. I could go on for days...if I could give them 0 stars I would.

Great way to get your hours in and foot in the door if you want to follow your healthcare career.
Workplace culture is alright, just honestly depends who you’re working with and if the big boss is there.
I would honestly still be there if I was treated with respect.

Used to be a good company to work for...
|
At one time this was a great company to work for. Other than the fact that your pay is capped as soon as you start (no raises) and no bonuses to speak of other than a water bottle given to us years ago that immediately melted in a dishwasher... We had a good time, a lot of appreciation, and more then enough help to meet the demands of the facility.
Fast forward to recent times. Not enough help on what so ever, to the point that many days you're literally doing the job of 2 to 3 people. Most employees that have worked for the company for multiple years are beyond stressed out, burnt out, and just plain done with everything.
Recent management changes have led to a manager that we assumed was poorly trained, but over time we have now realized that the person hired for the position was poorly chosen as they are not the correct individual for the job. Barely any support from the manager in the kitchen especially with the lack of associates. Orders are always completely wrong and it has become embarrassing explaining to the nursing staff and residents that we are constantly out of product due to the lack of correct ordering of said product.
New hires that we have had which are few and far between have not been properly vetted which has led to multiple issues including said associates having to be escorted out of the facility.
To many more issues to address in this text field, but I for one feel that especially in this facility HCSG has failed it's associates.

It's pretty bad
|
Typical work day? Frustration, not knowing who's going to show up. Account manager they hire...excel at being unprofessional, incompetent, and vicious.
I've learned to never again work for any company with this Brand attached to it. You will thank me later!
Management... they use account managers as weapons against their staff. Even if the staff members are doing what they are suppose to. The more good work you do, the more work they will lay on you.. even if it's 2 or 3 people's jobs.
The workplace will leave you depressed, and if you stay long enough. You'll have severe depression, maybe even psychosis.
The hardest part? Coming to work... it's like taking pain tablets, the extra strength version.
The only joy I've experienced is watching their company fall apart, and their wicked ways catching up to them.

Our department had 4 part time employees but easily required 8. We were never able to meet the needs of the customers we were caring for. Our inexperienced Manager lacked professionalism and caused conflict with employees instead of leading and offering support.
