Good place to work with some great people. The company is more of a fashion brand now and not as much sporting goods. There is a fair amount of internal theft and with organized retail crime, it can be challenging. Pay is not the best.

It’s exciting to help people define their own personal style with new shoes and/or cloths making the customers happy really put a smile on my face

A typical work day was okay, I’ve learned how to conduct an interview, scan and receive mail and packages, and filling out bank deposits slips for drops. The culture of Hibbettt felt great one needed a change of the music on the radio system. The job itself wasn’t really hard all of the task were pretty easy except for having to go deposit the stores money in the bank on your dime (gas) and not being compensated for it, that was not in the job description and I didn’t feel as if I was paid enough for having to make bank runs. I felt as if my manager Mark showed favoritism to certain employees leaving certain workers unnoticed of their rising talents or potential. The most enjoyable part was/were the customers getting to meet new faces and helping them find what they need rather they came in having a bad day I did my best to try to turn it around

I enjoyed my time at hibbett sports, however, the pay was very sub par. Management was always kind but not willing to help you learn. Overall would not recommend.
