Going into the office with high anxiety because you knew in 8-10 hours you would still have the same amount of work waiting for you the the next day. Management style is not the best they are constantly down your necks to produce but they do not provide the environment or resources to do so, you're expected to pull it from the air. No supports, no real future here. The culture is sickening, the company fails to realize and recognize all of its employees. They really try to hire and promote from within. Training is lacking for new hires, helps to have prior bank experience. My managers have never pushed me to meet quarterly goals in which I didn't think I could achieve. I've learned excellent techniques, and my managers have been very helpful in the want for me to excel and succeed, even if that means moving branches to move forward with my career. Workplace so far has been nice as the managers in the branch seem to work hard and even sometimes alongside the teller line <which is really helpful when it gets overwhelming>. Due to COVID they let all high risk employees take a voluntary furlough allowing them unemployment benefits and to keep their health benefits. They also will pay for all of your bill if your sickness is due to COVID. The hardest part of the job is not meeting the quotas but exceeding them to make your branch stand out. The most enjoyable is the customers, the people you work with, and the knowledge that they will treat you like a decent human being. Good management, okay pay, various locations, easy to learn, great opportunity for advancement.
