What is the best part of working at the company?
The services HealthStream offers are interesting.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There are a lot of dead end positions at HealthStream. I've had three separate managers offer me promotion paths that didn't actually exist, and I didn't find out about one of them until I'd already been doing what was supposed to be my new job for close to a year on the advice of my manager at that time. HealthStream felt no obligation to honor anything that manager said or offer any kind of resolution. By the time the second manager made their "offer," I was no longer willing to do the new job until something official was in place (and that never came). And now that I've had a third offer made and then retracted by yet another manager, I'm looking for another job.
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It varies depending on department. Some departments have a very positive, supportive culture and people who have been there forever. Others are headed by micromanagers, have toxic cultures, and/or have high turnover.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I spend most of my time doing things that are not in my job description and don't have anything to do with my skillset.

HealthStream offers good products. They simply try to do to much. They need to focus on what they are good at and stop trying to be a one stop shop for all things in healthcare training. This dilutes their value and makes it difficult to prioritize work.

I enjoyed my work until Covid and we all worked from home. it seemed like I was given extra duties which overwhelmed me; new analytical reporting, meetings. I found myself working far into the night most days and some weekends. This consquently led to burnout.

And about sanding was need to polish the parts to be a good quality before painting.. Clean and check before undergo in robot painter and after that we need to paint every corner of parts to secure the parts is all secured have paint..

One of the best team cultures I've ever seen. Immediate managers are excellent - always sure to recognize and reward good work. Management walks the walk on enabling employees to have time and life outside the company. Benefits are fine, fairly standard. Remote and hybrid offerings are employee focused, most of my team is not in the HQ because we can choose 100% WFH.
The not so positive? Upper management is not committed to new directives or initiatives. Failing fast is one thing, but many times we've barely implemented one process before we change it all over again. And in that change the front line folks are the ones who have to manage the customers through the upheaval. Some accounts have been passed around the team for a year, with a new contact every quarter. Hard to instill trust and confidence in the relationship when I don't know if I will still be their contact in 3 months.
