The mission is incredible, focused on helping people in the detection and therapy of cancer. Great leadership, people work really hard and there is a passion for the mission. We are female led, she is a great leader, empathetic towards others and easy to engage with.

Overall, the company has struggled as it moves from a traditional software company (on-prem) to a cloud solution. The product is very innovative, but there needs to be change to the culture, how work is done and its happening, but not fast enough.

The people working at iCAD are some of the most passionate you'll meet. Benefits were decent.
|
Little to no support and upper execs willfully choose to ignore teams that are drowning. You're told to work harder and resources come by way of a system upgrade that is a full time job on top of your existing job because employees have to do the heavy lifting. Those who want to see change are either terminated or forced out by untrainable expectations. From October to February I had two days off, one of which was Christmas, and a light work week was 60 hours.

Stop trading on the mission of what iCAD does to force employees to get it done at all costs. Promote work/life balance, which is currently non-existent. Make it feasible for employees to take time off. For more tenured employees provide a raise, something that many haven't seen in at least 3-4 years.
