Working at IS&S is fast paced. The variety of projects is exciting. There are fewer pointless meetings than at other companies I've worked at. Most coworkers are nice.

Limited vacation time. The ends of fiscal quarters are always stressful. The office has been physically rearranged multiple times over the years, not always for the better.

The cross-training performed allows for employees to gain experience in all elements of the Software Development Process.
Promotion/Recruitment from within has always been a focus of the company.
The smaller agile development environment allows for an efficient and accurate software delivery.
The tasks assigned change frequently enough to keep from becoming stale.
Co-Workers are pleasant and the environment is usually jovial.
Salary has been competitive relative to the market for positions I have held.
Pioneering new software and equipment is challenging but highly interesting work.

I enjoyed my time working at IS&S. The people are great. It is a small company and I prefer smaller companies. They don't seem to have the back stabbing BS that you find with larger corporations. Very friendly, family type of atmosphere amongst the employees.
