You don’t get paid actual per mile
Poor management with no leadership qualities it’s almost like working in a sweat shop. It’s 2024 and you can’t get respect as a human being. As long as you drop and hook and be quiet meaning go home stressed and depressed this may be the place for you. They don’t value drives or driver feedback because you’re easily replaced because they hire 24/7. So you will just be a number. You will only receive negative feedback and no positive feedback.

I really have no advice for management because the system that they’re running works for the company and not the company and driver as it should. They are not incentivize to change. Value your drivers!

The management is supportive and realistic about the daily goals they set. They have a lot of ways to help employees move up within the company, including mentorship programs, and encourage you to apply for positions that interest you within the company. They offer education benefits in addition to other benefits like healthcare. I think they do want to empower their employees.

The pay was insulting and unrealistic to be able to support an adult who has bills to pay, even in a lower-cost-of-living area like Northwest Arkansas. I have heard that they pay better in other states, but my position was at their headquarters and the pay was shockingly measly. Though there are opportunities to grow and move within the company, my entry-level position had a requirement of staying in that position for one year before you were eligible for mobility within the company. I left before the end of the year for a better-paying job because I was struggling to pay basic needs like rent, utilities, and groceries. It wasn't worth the carrot of potentially gaining a better position that might have significantly better pay.
