I enjoyed the time I spent at Kirkland's Home and would still be there today if our location hadn't been permanently closed. I would recommend working for this business if you are interested in the home furnishings side of retail.

I will say there was certainly middle management drama and politics in my district. It was not always the most positive working environment but from my understanding, the person involved in those issues has since split from the company and they have changed CEOs so I believe the culture is improving.

My manager was really flexible with my hours and let me request time off when I needed it. My coworkers were all really nice. It was an easy job and everyone was very helpful when it came to training and learning the position.
