All of the paperwork and rules that comes with working for a large company

Not really sure. I have only worked with 5 other people I am only employee in my area
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Show up to customer help them with any issues they need help resolving and then home office to finish paperwork.

Pros: Coworkers are great, engineering teams helpful and welcoming. Overall pay is decent. Flexible working hours.
Cons: Long hours and high stress environment the closer you interact with customer. Company facing retention issues and has trouble filling positions. Expect high workload due to understaffing.

Small company vibe, no support or motivation

Work is pretty chaotic, unorganized, lots of issues and yet somehow the business is profitable. But the profits come from relentless efforts by the team members, and they kinda bully the new people to do the same because they are left with no choice. Management is not motivating unless we are going in the direction that they want us to go in; supervisors are under pressure and they often try to micromanage and don't try to connect at a personal level or work towards setting performance goals for subordinates. Pressure on the supervisors are directly projected onto the subordinates. Do not get into this division if you care about your mental health, personal progress or goals in life.

What is the most stressful part about working at KLA-Tencor Corporation?
Engineering and management making promises to customers that is not feasible. When we are unable to meet those promises blame gets passed downward onto engineers and techs.

Team-the team of people are all great to work with are great but there is no retention plan unless you are in California.

The people that work at KLA are wonderful. They won’t last more than a year though as KLA doesn’t pay well and they work their people to the ground.
