Favoritism is rampant with scheduling. One coworker never works weekends or if she does it’s after she had a three day weekend off. The rest of the time she takes half as many calls as everyone else abs wastes time doing reports that can be done in the half the time if she were more efficient. But management loves her so she gets away with it. Half the people are incompetent at what they do forcing the competent employees to pick up the slack more often than not. Medical requests were ignored by management even when it falls under reasonable accommodation requests. Used to be enjoyable until the favoritism became very clear. You can be the top employee for several quarters in your department but hr will hire the new grad over you to avoid promoting and paying fair market salary for the position. There is a lot of dead weight in this company. There is too much upper management. They don’t hire enough people to handle work load as result. They try to keep cost low by sticking it to lower level staff. Most positions at Lakeland require you to carry workload of three to four people. They allow NO overtime ever!!!! It’s always partiality between staff members. She always look that the glass is half empty never sees glass is half full. At least sometime look positive/ appreciate. Manager keep eyes close never knows what’s going on behind her back. Branch manager was pro to ruin employee’s career. She did it to so many employees in the past too. Pay themselves the big bucks while paying Tellers next to nothing and other employees and managers nothing as well. They play favorites and take care of those employees while others in the department are hard working and get no where. They are all over the place, will have you complete projects and at the end it was wrong and you need to redo. This was a Senior Executive Vice President person. Did not effect her at all, but the work that was just done for the entire Co had to be redone. Why wasn’t she held responsible? Because it’s all about “Officers” making the big bucks. They don’t care about the little guy. It won’t ever change. Heard the place is even worse to work for now.
