Lumentum as a company seem to be trying hard to becoming a company that wants to look after its staff and genuinely seems to care. It's a real shame this seems to be falling short at its caswell site, The revolving door of techs coming and going says a lot people with huge experience just being let go without a care and replaced by inexperienced people while the workload continues to grow and grow. I really hope they work out how to keep people (MORE MONEY) soon as without experience and knowledge this site is doomed.

Lots of employee turnover, difficult place to work. Some roles may require frequent long trips over-seas, which may also require late-night calls with over-seas vendors. Some projects were working on neat or new technologies while a significant amount of work was required to maintain legacy products.

Made to feel very welcome. 4 on 4 off takes some getting used to but it soon became natural. Canteen good, will do special dietary requirements if you let them know.

Some very good people but also many who enjoy the destruction of others. Often very little training, blame for making mistakes that you didn't make and no obvious route to advance your career. It's a shame because much of the work is interesting and i was always eager. If you are conscientious and hard working this place is unsuitable as you will not progress, be prepared to use dirty tactics, be impolite and gaslight people to remove all of their self esteem. I personally wouldn't use these tactics so it wasn't for me.
