I left due to the person that manages the Indy credit team. He is extremely rude. Everything must be perfect or he will flip out. His communication is extremely poor. No one will be able to train you since everyone is new due to high turnover. -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL 0.0 1.0 5.0 3.0 1.0 1.0 4.0 4.0 915776 Open Get new management on the Indy credit team. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 2.0 Open Mar 9th, 2024 03:42PM Mar 9th, 2024 03:42PM Lakeland Financial Financials Banks
nasdaq:lkfn https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=915776 Feb 20th, 2024 12:00AM Open Open Lake City Bank Retail Banker Fort Wayne, IN Unorganized and Ill-Prioritized Good culture of people working for the company - Working for this company is considered a reason to pay below market value (they will tell you they aren't...they are) - Extremely disorganized. Minimal opportunities to get on the same page as other departments - "Support" departments are understaffed and almost never available - Executive positions are not kind or considerate of employees they consider below them - You will frequently be expected to work outside of your job description without extra incentive, financial or otherwise. - Extra work rarely results in promotion or acknowledgement -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 2.0 1.0 4.0 1.0 2.0 1.0 4.0 915776 Open Get out of your offices at headquarters and get in the branches and figure it out. The picture you have painted in your heads of what needs your retail staff have does not line up with their actual needs. 4 and a half years I worked in the same branch and I can count the number of times an executive level position came into our office and discussed how things were going (zero). 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 4.0 Open Feb 27th, 2024 07:52PM Feb 27th, 2024 07:52PM Lakeland Financial Financials Banks

nasdaq:lkfn https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=915776 Nov 16th, 2023 12:00AM Open Open Lake City Bank Warsaw, IN Full Transparency 3-4% annual raise. 15 Days of PTO + all bank holidays off $800 HSA contribution yearly They will squeeze out every last drop of work you give for as minimal pay as you will tolerate. The retail bankers start off at an unlivable wage in today's economy. Sure they give you an average of a 3-4% raise yearly (IF you meet goal expectations), but that raise does not matter if it takes 10 years to get to a sustainable living wage. Management is a joke. They choose the most up tight managers with zero tolerances for anything. One specific department has an enormously high turnover rate and is known throughout the bank to be terrible to work there. Why you may ask? 2 people make the entire department hate it. These two people are high up on the totem pole from experience alone. Since their knowledge is unreplaceable, HR ignores complaints about them and refuses to acknowledge those people are the problem. They just let it continue. The dress code is obnoxious. Even if you work in a musty basement or hidden behind cubicles and never see clients, you have to wear business casual. Forget sneakers or crewneck sweatshirts (EVEN with a LCB logo on them). Fridays, you can wear jeans. Annually, they drag every employee across the state to do a "town hall" meeting. They go over reports, have a nice speaker and offer some delicious snacks. This year, before the townhall meeting, they sent out a survey asking to anonymously talk about how they like LCB. Boy did that bite them in the butt. At the townhall meeting, the CEO read off one comment from an employee that was about him, he was obviously annoyed and wanted to address it. Not very anonymous if you ask me. Then they proceeded to go over the results. They said they would talk about what changes will be made based on these results...The changes? "We are at industry standards and do not see changes are needing to be met"...The insurance is trash, People mentioned it a lot in the survey, their response? "Insurance prices are increasing for 2024". Early in 2023, we had a huge fraud scam happen and the bank announced that they lost millions due to discrepancies. The CEO proceeded to trash the department that messed up in front of the entire bank....AFTER already sending a bank wide email about it. I am sure that department wanted to quit, I would have. I have many personal stories of why this place has ruined my love for banking. I have lots of banking experience and the way they run this place is a joke. For the sake of my job, I will keep the personal issues to myself to avoid outing myself, but I can assure you, I am actively seeking another job. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 5.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 915776 Open Take complaints seriously.
