Good work environment for most of my tenure

The company offered compelling technology to work on and demonstrated an ability to scale technology to meet the needs of millions of CDN users.
However, a C-suite management shake-up near the end of my tenure at Limelight made the last few months a bit chaotic.

Wake up and work; then work some more and attend meeting and being double oncall

Worked at the company before they moved the main office to Scottsdale and it was a great place to work. My manager was there to help me develop and the culture of the company was great. Felt like a startup with all of the amenities offered at the time, including stocked snacks and lunches as well as relaxation and game rooms.

Free lunches, fun game rooms. Management was great and had good culture.
|
Not too many cons, mostly that sometimes you'd feel disconnected from the culture when working an overnight shift.

Compensation is terrible

The executive team is new and has paid themselves full bonus in stock (with knowledge of an upcoming merger and expected stock run up) while holding back the bonuses of the the rest of the company. The CEO likes to talk about "1st Team" culture, the reality is that most are second class citizens. I cannot recommend working here.
