My managers are great and I consider myself fortunate to have them. It is a WFH position, so office drama is almost nonexistent. On certain days the job can be incredibly stressful due to call volume. There are also constant changes in protocols for clients, who seem to think they are the sole client and not one of twenty. Complaints are constant from certain clients. Compliments are few from them. The managers know this, so they bend over backwards to support and encourage. On busy days, it is all hands on and managers take care of us and are on the phones too. That level of support is so rare and it is probably the only reason I have stayed, because the pay is awful! If the pay were better, I would not think of leaving, because it feels great to know that your manager supports you and truly does work alongside you. If only the pay were better. Great managers who support you and understand challenges faced, for they still do the job. Picky clients, constantly changing client protocols. You feel like they are literally breathing down your neck for every single second you are in the building. We have to account for every minute we are on the clock whether that be with patients in therapy or on the phone educating a family member. But then they have such strict rules for productivity, number of hours you can be in the building depending on your patient caseload, can’t bill more than 1 CPT code in a day even if a patient needs it!
