Great prior to covid but repeated layoffs, cost cutting measures and change in leadership crashed the vibe. Alot of smart and hardworking people who gave their all were let go.

Great career advancement opportunities
|
When I started in 2014 this place was the best. It offered REAL employee perks, like a monthly $60 allowance for personal needs or health club memberships. As I advanced in my career, I found that the opportunities that were offered to me were extremely rare in a tech field and I was able to take my job to the next level. Eventually that stalled out as the company went public, then private again, then was sold twice, as well as multiple rounds of layoffs. The company culture has truly died, however, I believe it still focusses on a hire within mentality.

Happy overall, great colleagues. Sales strategies changed during my time, didn't enjoy working with a script and neither did most of my colleagues, glad that was scrapped.

What is the best part of working at the company?
They have excellent health benefits and they give you one Wellness day off every month. The company really shows their employees how much they are appreciated.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The unprofessional business owners that call in and complain
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very laid back work environment, call volume is not very busy and I always get great help from my peers.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day consists of taking back to back calls for the first 3 hours and then it slows down.

The worst work experience I've ever had.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Mindbody was willing to work with my school schedule, but there wasn't much else that was positive about working for that company.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There was minimal training and support. The system is complex and highly customizable by clients, and tech support is essentially left to figure it out on their own. Communication is poor.
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Mindbody seems to try to mimic the cultures of big tech companies like Google or Meta by throwing quarterly celebrations and giving out free tshirts, but all of this is done at the expense of employee pay and benefits.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very stressful. Calls could be hours long, callers were impatient due to long wait times, and there was minimal support for employees trying to work complicated issues.
