So, I've been with Mediacom for a long time. But I've got to be real, the whole passion for the job and job satisfaction? Pretty much non-existent. Why? Well, it's like they couldn't care less about keeping their employees happy. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate my job, but there are days when I seriously think about packing it in.
What's interesting though, is that four out of the last five reviews came from vice presidents. Smells a bit fishy, like they're trying to boost their online ratings through management. Quick tip for the higher-ups: if your employees are genuinely happy, you wouldn't need those kinds of tactics.
Now, Mediacom is all about communication, being a communications company and all, but the irony is, they kinda suck at it. Cheap lunches and Christmas parties are cool, but they're not fixing the real issues. Want to boost morale? Throw in some decent pay raises to tackle inflation, make in office work optional with some good incentives to get people to want to come in, and throw in more paid time off. And hey, let's not forget about guarding your employee's mental health – it matters.
Oh, and getting rid of those toxic managers treating call center folks like property? Yeah, that's a must. Bottom line, if you really care about your employees, sort out these real problems instead of just slapping on superficial language about how much Mediacom cares about it's employees.
