Lots of good people work there, you will make friends, and you will all bond over how much you hate working there.
Free meals, usually pretty good!
Can gain some great experience that will serve you well when you find another job.

Pay is trash for all they ask of you, benefits are just okay. Don't expect to get any real vacation time unless you work there for 5+ years.
Not progressive at all. HR policies were stuck in the 1970s when I started. By the time I left they had advanced to about the early 1990s, but tattoos, piercings, artificially colored hair or unique hairstyles, are all still scary to them. Reasonable amount of gender inequality written into their rules. Saw men fired for wearing too much jewellery, only men.
Crazy turnover, they will burn through 100 good employees before firing one terrible manager. They love their management there, no matter how inept.
Upper management is even worse, basically cemented in place. CEO is practically disconnected from reality and should have retired 10 years ago.

I honestly could not think of one pro. Aside from paying a paycheck, there is no pro. There's no career advancement. No educational value (classes, continued education reimbursement, in house training). Not even an employee discount. Not one reason to work there other than a paycheck.

Overworked with little pay. No support from management, but constant demands. There isn't even an employee discount there if you get hungry. I'm out on a broken foot, and received nothing but demand for what I can do for the company. Not one person has asked if I am ok.

You should start by treating your employees more like they are people, and not just numbers or machines. You should pay more attention to the amount of power you give your managers and what they do with it. All schedules should be run by HR for all departments before being finalized to eliminate breaking labor laws. Higher ups should spend time in each department at least once a year to see how everything runs and if anything should be improved.
