Terrible place to work

they have a nice office

Very toxic environment to work at. Long term employees often bully new employees. Too much stress and hard work but hardly get recognised and supported. Managers do not care about the staff. they just treat you like a milking cow. Also very out-dated systems, processes and management. HR is very rude and gaslighiting you. Underpaid compared to market and toxic culture so they always understaff and make you work ridiculous amount of work but still no appreciation, even for long-term staffs.

Management treats staff below VP like cattle. Australian staff are favored. CEO told staff they’re lucky to have jobs and if they don’t like it they can leave. Favoritism is rampant. Very top—heavy with too many VPs-some with no direct reports. Staff often fired with no warning. Stressful environment with little if any positive feedback and little consideration for work-life balance.

Enjoyed my time at Mesoblast; the people really do make it such a great place to work. NY office was tight knit. I miss working with everyone I had worked with.
